SECURAPLANE XL246-S

Introduction

Securaplane's XL46-S is an Emergency Battery System providing 6 amps of power at 19.5 to 24 VDC. The XL246-S is standard on all Gulfstream IVSP production installations since aircraft serial number 1278. The unit was first introduced to Gulfstream Over 1,700 units in service demonstrating an overall MTBF > 20,000 hours (Compare to the AMPS 2000A, which has never exceeded 2000 hours MTBF).
